In council motion approved Street Services employees lost 5 truck operator positions and significant funding.
As previously reported the Bureau of Sanitation will immediately take over the trash receptacle collection duties.
Existing employees will be transferred to other positions within the Bureau if available.
Street Services Managers were nowhere to be found when this motion was brought to the table demonstrating a clear lack of respect for those in charge and a very clear message on their intentions.
This is yet another instance in which despite what management, or the unions have told the workforce, we continue to be 100% correct.
