Alejandro Stephens is accused of getting paid from 4 associates who set up bogus consulting companies and got contracts from VIP for work that was never done.
Stephens later got most of the money for those contracts back from his associates in the kickback scheme.

Stephens lost his union presidency in 2007 when SEIU Local 660, merged with 347 to become Local 721. He was another famous ‘Lost Timer’ who ended up getting fired by the county when he never returned to work.
